A welcome variation from boiled and buttered cabbage—good with ham

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 red apple, cored and sliced
  • ½ c. dairy s

Method

  • Cut cabbage into 6 wedges. Cook in small amount of boiling salted water 5 minutes. Add apple; cook about 3 minutes more, until tender. Drain.
  • Combine remaining ingredients. Heat through, but do not boil. Pour on cabbage. Serve hot.
