Hominy goes fancy for the ham or pork chop company dinner


  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ c. light cream or evaporated milk
  • 1


  • In a saucepan, combine soup, cream, celery seeds, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. Simmer gently a few minutes to blend flavors.
  • Meanwhile, drain hominy; add to hot sauce together with almonds. Turn into greased 1-qt. casserole.
  • Combine crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over casserole. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 25 to 30 minutes.
