Ingredients

  • ¼ c. long-grain rice
  • 2 qts. boiling water
  • 1 tsp.

Method

  • Drop rice into rapidly boiling water with 1 tsp. salt added; boil uncovered 5 minutes; drain at once.
  • Melt butter in 2-qt. casserole in oven; stir in onions. Add ½ tsp. salt
