Honey-orange glazed parsnips tempt appetites with a gourmet flavor

Ingredients

  • 3 c. diagonally sliced (½ ) parsnips
  • ¾ c. boiling water
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 tblsp. butter
  • 1 tblsp. honey
  • ¼ c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. grated orange peel

Method

  • Cook parsnips in water and salt until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and remove from saucepan.
  • Heat remaining ingredients together in saucepan. Combine with parsnips. Serve hot.
