No fuss to fix the crisp, brown potato slices that are mealy inside

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled
  • 3 tblsp. melted fat
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Cut potatoes crosswise in ½″ slices. Brush with melted fat.
  • Bake in hot oven (425°), basting frequently with fat until tender and golden brown on both sides.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika, and serve hot.
