If you don’t count calories, you’ll like these tomatoes with hot, rich cream gravy poured over the top


  • 6 medium green tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 tblsp. sugar
  • ½ c. flou


  • Sprinkle tomatoes with sugar; let stand about 15 minutes. Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat tomato slices.
  • Melt 2 tblsp. butter in skillet. Brown tomatoes slowly on both sides. Remove each batch to ovenproof platter and keep hot in oven until all tomatoes are co
