Unusual turnip dish of Dutch origin

Ingredients

  • 3 c. sliced cooked turnips 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 c. chopped peanuts
  • 2 tblsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • Chopped parsley

Method

  • Arrange turnips, onion and peanuts in well greased 1½-qt. baking dish. Dot with butter, add salt and paprika. Bake uncovered in moderate oven (350°) 15 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.
