It’s apricot pie filling that makes salad glisten—also adds fine flavor

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can pineapple chunks
  • 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can fruit cocktail
  • 2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges
  • 7 or 8 sliced peeled bananas
  • 2 tblsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (1 lb. 6 oz.) can apricot pie filling

Method

  • Drain the canned fruits thoroughly. Mix all the ingredients together and chill several hours, or overnight.
