Ingredients

  • 5 large ripe tomatoes
  • ¼ c. salad oil
  • tblsp. lemon juice
  • ½ clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. orégano leaves
  • tsp. pepper

Method

  • Peel tomatoes; cut in thick slices.
  • Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over tomatoes. Chill thoroughly, stirring once or twice.
