Delightfully different apple salad

Ingredients

  • 3 (3 oz.) pkgs. orange gelatin
  • 2 c. boiling apple cider or juice

Method

  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling cider. Add cold cider. Chill until slightly jelled.
  • In the meantime, soak white raisins in ½ c. cider about 30 minutes. Drain raisins, discarding cider. Add raisins, apples and walnuts to gelatin. Pour into 2½-qt. mold and chill until firm.
