Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shell macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 6 c. chopped cabbage
  • ½ c. chopped celery
  • ½ c. green pepper strips
  • ½ c. minced onion
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans red kidney beans, drained
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 (9 oz.) jar prepared mustard
  • 3 tblsp. butter
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper

Method

  • Toss together macaroni, cabbage, celery, green pepper, onion and kidney beans.
  • Blend together remaining ingredients in top part of double boiler. Cook over simmering water about 5 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly. Cool. Pour over vegetables; toss together lightly.
