Right for potato and macaroni salads


  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 tblsp. chopped onion
  • 3 tblsp


  • Fry bacon until crisp and brown. Drain bacon and crumble into small pieces. Set aside.
  • Sauté onion in bacon drippings until tender. Add sugar, vinegar and water; bring to boiling point. Cool. Combine mixture with salad dressing; beat until smooth. Mix in bacon. Chill.
