Method

Cream butter and sugar; stir in lemon peel and almonds. Mix well.
Roll dough into a 14 X 10″ rectangle. Sprinkle sugar mixture evenly over dough. Arrange candied fruits evenly over the top. Roll up from the long side as for jelly roll; seal edge. Place, sealed edge down, in ring on lightly greased baking sheet Seal ends together firmly. Snip dough with scissors f
