Bring a change to bread basket with these tasty, colorful biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 3 tblsp. sugar
  • 4 tsp.

Method

  • Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  • Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture looks like coarse meal or crumbs. Stir in pecans.
  • Combine cream and pumpkin; stir into flour mixture just enough to moisten dry ingredients. You will have a stiff dough. Turn dough onto a lightly floured board and knead gently a few times.
