  • c. sifted flour
  • tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp


  • Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and spices.
  • Beat eggs; add vanilla and sugar. Beat well. Mix in butter.
  • Add milk and sifted dry ingredients alternately. Mix into a soft dough.
  • Turn dough onto lightly floured board. Knead lightly for 30 seconds, then roll out ½″ thick. Cut with floured doughnut cutter. Remove trimmings.
  • Lift
