This soft jellied sauce tastes marvelous with poultry or meats

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. fresh cranberries
  • ¾ c. sugar

Method

  • Combine cranberries, sugar and water; bring to a boil. Boil rapidly 5 minutes, or until cranberries pop.
  • Pour hot cranberry mixture over gelatin in 2-qt. casserole; stir to dissolve gelatin. Blend in applesauce. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
