If raspberries are scarce, capture their flavor with this recipe

Method
- Put ripe, firm plums through food chopper using medium blade.
- Combine plums and sugar in a 5- or 6-qt. pan. Add raspberries. Mix together.
- Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer until thick, about 40 minutes. Stir occasionally. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal at once.
