You are sure to like honey with lemons added, but try all three


  • 5 lbs. Kieffer pears
  • 10 c. sugar
  • 2 ( oz.) cans crushed pineapple (2 c.)


  • Peel pears, remove hard core and discard. Put pears through food chopper, using coarse blade.
  • Combine pears, sugar and pineapple; cook until mixture is thick and pears are clear. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal or cover with paraffin.
