A state fair champion. Spoon on vanilla ice cream for a treat


  • 4 c. whole raspberries
  • 4 c. sugar
  • Juice of 1


  • Place raspberries in kettle with sugar and lemon. Bring slowly to a boil over low heat, shaking all the while. Do not stir. Continue shaking and boil for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Cover; let stand several hours or overnight. Heat and seal in hot sterilized jars.
