Ingredients

1⅓ c. Concord grapes
2⅔ c. seedless green grapes
½ c

Method

Slip skins off Concords and discard; add pulp to seedless grapes; add water.
Cook until soft, put through sieve or food mill. Sieve applesauce, add to mixture. Bring to boil, stirring frequently.
Add sugar and lemon peel. Simmer until thick and jelly-like. (Two drops of mixture should run together and sheet from metal spoon.)
