Ingredients

  • 1⅓ c. Concord grapes
  • 2⅔ c. seedless green grapes
  • ½ c

Method

  • Slip skins off Concords and discard; add pulp to seedless grapes; add water.
  • Cook until soft, put through sieve or food mill. Sieve applesauce, add to mixture. Bring to boil, stirring frequently.
  • Add sugar and lemon peel. Simmer until thick and jelly-like. (Two drops of mixture should run together and sheet from metal spoon.)
