Ingredients

  • 2 c. cranberries
  • 3 c. unpeeled red apple slices
  • ¾ c. sugar
  • ½ c. butter
  • 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
  • ½ c. flour
  • ½ c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • ½ c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Combine cranberries, apple slices and ¾ c. sugar in bottom of 2-qt. casserole.
  • Melt butter; stir in remaining ingredients. Spread over berries and apples.
  • Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 hour.
