Garnish with fresh strawberries for a picture-pretty trim


  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • 1 c. milk
  • c. sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 c. grape juice (Concord)
  • ¼ c. lemon juice


  • Combine ingredients and beat until sugar dissolves.
  • Pour into two refrigerator trays or loaf pans and freeze until nearly firm.
  • Turn mixture into chilled bowl and beat until fluffy and smooth. Work fast and do not let mixture melt.
  • Return to trays and freeze until firm.
