Ingredients

  • 2 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ c. sugar
  • 1 envelope unfla

Method

  • Combine strawberries and ¼ c. sugar and mash well. Let stand 10 minutes then strain off ⅓ c. juice. Set aside remaining crushed berries.
  • Soften gelatin in the ⅓ c. strawberry juice. Dissolve over hot water. Add to buttermilk along with the remaining crushed berries, ½ c.
