Method

  • Stir together gingerbread mix, ginger and cinnamon. Then prepare the gingerbread according to package directions except add the 2 tblsp. melted butter along with the water called for in the package directions.
  • Pour into greased 9" round layer cake pan. Bake according to package directions.
  • Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool on rack. When cake is cool, place on serving platter; spoon Orange-Sliver Chocolate Icing over top, allowing it to drizzle down cake sides.
