A quick way to put a two-layer cake together when you’re in a hurry
Ingredients
¼ c ½ c 2 tblsp
Method
- Melt butter; stir in sugar and cream.
- Place cake layers on baking sheet, one at a time. Spread each layer evenly with butter mixture, spreading out to edges.
- Place cake in broiler 6 to 8" from heat, and broil until bubbly and golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Broil each layer separately.
