⅓ c 3 squares ¾ c
Method
- Melt lard in 2- to 3-qt. saucepan over low heat. Add chocolate and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
- Mix ¾ c. sugar and cornstarch thoroughly. Stir into chocolate mixture. Add 1 c. milk; stir and cook over low heat until smooth and thick. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. (Set pan in cold water to speed cooling.)
