Nuts and dates are not chopped—you cut them when you slice cake
Ingredients
1½ c 1½ c 1 tsp
Method
- In large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add dates, nuts and cherries; stir to coat well.
- Combine eggs and vanilla. Mix into flour-nut mixture. (Easy way is to use your hands.)
- Spoon into 3 greased 8½ X 4½ X 2½" loaf pans.
- Bake in slow oven (325°) 1 hour. Cool before slicing or freezing.
