Ingredients

Unbaked 9" pie shell
3 egg yolks
1½ c. sugar
1

Method

Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored.
Combine sugar, flour and spices. Add to egg yolks alternately with butter and vinegar; mix well.
Stir in apples and pecans.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into apple mixture, blending well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) about 50 minutes,
