  • Combine ½ c. white sugar, brown sugar and corn syrup in saucepan. Heat just to boiling. Remove from heat and add butter. Stir until butter melts.
  • Gradually stir hot mixture into eggs. Stir in black walnuts.
  • Combine 1 tblsp. sugar and the flour. Sprinkle evenly over bottom of pastry-lined pie pan. Turn walnut mixture into pastry.
