Method

Line a 9" pie pan with Pink Pastry (see recipe).
Pile softened ice cream into baked pie shell and spread; freeze overnight.
To serve, heat oven to extremely hot (500°). Arrange strawberries on ice cream.
Make meringue with egg whites, cream of tartar and sugar. Tint a delicate pink. Spread meringue over pie,
