Combine 2 c. sifted confectioners sugar, tblsp. butter and tblsp. dairy half-and-half or light cream. Beat until smooth. Add 3 to 4 drops peppermint extract. Divide in half; to one part add 3 drops red food color, to the other, 2 drops green food color.
