Ingredients: ½ c. butter or regular margarine; ½ c. lard; ½ c. butter or regular margarine; 1 tsp. vanilla; 2⅔ c. sifted flour; 1½ c. sugar; 2 eggs; ¼ tsp. salt; 2 tblsp. sugar; 2 tsp. cream of tartar; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Ingredients

½ c. butter or regular margarine
½ c. lard

Method

Beat butter and lard until light; add 1½ c. sugar and beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; add to beaten mixture.
Combine 2 tblsp. sugar and cinnamon.
Shape dough in small balls, about 1", and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet Bake in hot
