Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs

Method

  • Beat together 2 c. sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs to mix thoroughly.
  • Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. On lightly floured waxed paper, form dough into four rolls, each about 12" long and 1 to 1¼" in diameter. Cut in 1" slices. Dip tops of cookies in mixture of cinnamon and 2 tblsp. su
