Ingredients

  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. grated orange peel or vanilla
  • 3 c. corn flakes

Method

  • Add salt to egg whites and beat until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar. Continue beating until mixture stands in peaks and is glossy. Fold in orange peel and corn flakes.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 15 to 18 minutes, or until set and delicately browned. Remove from baking sheet and cool on racks.
