- Combine 1 c. sugar and 2 eggs; beat.
- Melt 2 squares chocolate with ½ c. butter; add to egg mixture. Blend in flour, 1 tsp. vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased 8" square pan.
- Bake in moderate oven (350°) 25 to 35 minutes; cool on rack.
- Combine remaining 1 c. sugar, beaten egg, cream, 2 squares chocolate, 2 tblsp. butter and 1 tsp. vanilla.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir until of spreading consistency. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut in 2" squares.
