Ingredients: 1 tsp. baking powder; 3½ c. sifted flour; ½ c. milk; 2 eggs, beaten; 1 c. butter or shortening; 2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed; Orange Glaze; 1 tsp. vanilla; 1 c. chopped walnuts; 2 c. chopped cooked prunes; ½ tsp. salt; 1 tsp. ground cinnamon; 1 tsp. baking soda

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. butter or shortening

Method

Cream together sugar and butter; stir in eggs and milk.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Add prunes, nuts and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2" apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove cookies and cool on racks.
