Ingredients: 1 tsp. vanilla; Peppermint Glaze; Silver dragées, nuts or canned frostings (for decorations); 1 square unsweetened chocolate, melted; 1 egg; ½ c. sugar; ½ c. butter or regular margarine; ½ tsp. salt; ½ tsp. baking powder; 2 c. sifted flour

Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp

Method

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, melted chocolate and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture, a third at a time, blending well. The dough will be stiff.
Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough, one at a time, into balls between hands. Place balls about 2" apart on lightly greased baking
