Fruited, spiced and fragrant


  • 6 c. water
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • 1 (1) stick cinnamon
  • tblsp. black tea
  • ¾ c. orange juice
  • 2 tblsp. lemon juice
  • ½ c. sugar


  • Place water in saucepan; add cloves and cinnamon. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add the tea at once, stir to distribute and immerse leaves. Cover and steep 5 minutes. Strain.
  • While tea steeps, heat orange and lemon juices, with sugar added, to a boil. Stir into the hot tea and serve at once in teacups.
