Ingredients

  • c. light molasses
  • 2 c. sugar
  • c. water
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • qts. popped corn, salted

Method

  • Combine molasses, sugar, water and vinegar. Cook to hard ball stage (250°). Remove from heat; wipe crystals off pan.
  • Add soda; stir to mix thoroughly. Pour over corn, mixing well. Shape into 2½" balls.
