Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh sage
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind

Method

  1. Boil sage and lemon rind in 3 cups water for about 30 minutes. Strain.
  2. Add sugar, lemon juice to taste and wine, and bring to a boil.
  3. Put the cinnamon stick in a soup tureen and pour soup over. Serve in cups.
