Mocha Filling I


  • ¼ pound semisweet chocolate
  • ¼ cup prepared very strong espresso coffee
  • ½ teaspoon instant coffee
  • 2 egg yolks
  • pound sweet butter
  • cup vanilla confectioners’ sugar


  1. Heat chocolate and coffee together for a few minutes, until chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Let it cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl whip the egg yolks with butter and sugar till light and foamy.
  3. Whip in the cooled chocolate-coffee mixture.
