  • ¾ pound sugar
  • pounds apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • ¼

Method

Bring the sugar and ¾ cup water to a boil. Add chopped apples. A few minutes later add almonds, citron and lemon juice. Cook the mixture till it becomes like a hot jelly. Stir often. Cool before using.
