Walnut Filling III

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup ground walnuts
  • ¼ pound butter
  • ½ cup vanilla confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon rum

Method

  1. Bring the milk to a boil with the ground walnuts. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Beat butter, sugar and egg yolks together till foamy. Add the rum.
  3. Combine both mixtures when the first mixture is cool.
