For the shortbread

  • 60 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 40 g powdered sugar

Method

Step 1: Add the butter to the bowl of a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and whip until creamy. Sift in the sugar, flour and cocoa powder and add the ground hazelnuts. Add the egg and mix well to combine. Spread the mixture 3mm out onto a tray. Place in the freezer for 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 160°C
