I sampled good Indo-Italian food in the temple city of Orcha, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, during a recent road trip to visit the sensual stone carvings of Khajuraho. The Rajput Bundela dynasty built the city of Orcha, with its sprawling temples and forts, in the 16th century, and its remnants now serve as a must-see tourist attraction. In this princely setting I enjoyed a spicy rendition of spaghetti arrabbiata at a eatery at the foot of the Raj Mahal fort. Here is my version.
