  • About

At south Indian weddings, this rice is packed in banana leaves for the groom’s party to eat on the way to the ceremony, should their journey be long. It can easily be eaten as is (which is normally the case for the groomsmen), but it also is the perfect accompaniment for Mixed Vegetables with a Potent Coconut-Chile Sauce, another wedding favorite.
