This sauce goes well with fried, baked, or grilled fish which does not have sauce of its own. It is fast, easy, and flavorful.


  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon


  • In a medium skillet, sauté onion in oil until transparent, 5 minutes. Stir in curry powder, coriander, and garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook gently on medium heat, covered, until sauce is nicely thickened, 5 to 7 minutes.
