  • About

Kunafa rolls are commonly called baqlawa bil sha’riyya (baklawa of vermicelli noodles), and some bakers prefer to fill the rolls with whole pistachios rather than the ground nut mixture.

Ingredients

  • One 16 oz/450 g package kunafa (shredded fillo dough), thawed
  • ¾ to 1

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°F/160°C/gas mark 3.
  • Make the filling by mixing all the ingredients in a medium bowl. The egg-white and rose water will help bind the ingredients.
  • Put the shredded dough in a big bowl, and refresh it with a sprinkling of wate
