The combination of golden knafa and a cream filling makes a sensational dessert fit for special occasions.


  • One 16 oz/450 g package kunafa (shredded fillo dough), thawed

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/175°C/gas mark 4.
  • In a big bowl, separate and fluff the shredded dough by pulling it with the fingers in opposite directions. It’s okay to break some in the process. Refresh it with a sprinkling of water, and then pour on the melted
