Method

  • Using two sheets of heavy acetate, with an X-ACTO knife or box cutter, cut an elliptical “boat”-shaped template into one, and then cut an “oar”-shaped template in the other. (Transparent report covers work well here.) The opening for the “boat” should be 10½ inches long by 3 inches wide, measured at the widest point, tapering to a point at each end. The opening for the oar
